Ingredients of Sinigang Na Bangus

  1. Prepare of Soup base.
  2. You need 1 of Milk Fish (Bangus) - belly portion "boneless".
  3. Prepare 3 of Ginger (3 fingers) - crushed.
  4. It's 2 of Tomato - cut in quarters or eights.
  5. You need 1 bunch of Green onion - chopped.
  6. You need 1 medium of Onion - chopped or sliced.
  7. It's 1 of Patis - 3-4 ladles.
  8. You need 1 of 4-5 pcs Calamansi fruit or Tamarind soup base mix. Add to taste..
  9. You need of Vegetables.
  10. You need 1 bunch of Kamote (Sweet Potato Leaves).
  11. It's 1 of White radish (Daikon) - sliced.
  12. It's of Optional Vegetables.
  13. It's 1 of Eggplant.
  14. It's 1 bunch of Ong Choy.
  15. Prepare 1 bunch of Okra.

You can also add other vegetables such as eggplant, radish, okra and taro. This is easy to cook since all you have to do is to boil water and add the fish, vegetables and tamarind mix.   1. Fill stock pot half way with water. (About 3 quarts).
  2. Add vegetable ingredients of soup base and bring water to a boil..
  3. Add about 3-4 ladle full of Patis. Or to taste before adding fish..
  4. Add fish and boil for another 3 minutes or until fish is cooked (meat turns white)..
  5. Add calamansi juice or tamarind soup mix..
  6. Add more Patis to taste..
  7. Add Kamote and radish..
