Ingredients of Drumstick curry
- Prepare 1 of big bowl toor dal.
- You need 2 of drumsticks (sehjan).
- It's 4 of kokam 1 big tomato.
- It's 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
- You need 1/2 tsp of cummin seeds.
- It's 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- It's Pinch of asafoetida.
- You need 8/10 of curry leaves.
- You need 2 tsp of homemade kanda lasun masala.

Drumstick curry instructions
- Wash and pressure cook the toor dal along with water for 3/4 whistles..
- Cool down and keep aside..
- Grind ginger garlic coconut to a smooth paste..
- Meanwhile cut drumsticks into lengthwise, remove it's skin & boil along with water & pinch of salt. Do not over cook..
- Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cummin seeds and let them crackle..
- Add asafoetida, turmeric powder, curry leaves, grind paste & kanda lasun masala. Saute for a minute..
- Add cooked dal, mix well..
- Add water as per consistency of dal. It should not be too thick or thin..
- When it's boil add kokum, jaggery, salt & boiled drumsticks..
- Cook for 5 minutes..
- Serve with hot steam rice..
